- If your loved one asked you to forget something which is very precious to you i.e. moment with him/her (for an example your first date!)
- Would you be more appreciating if you know / don't know this will be happen once in your life time??

why have to forget?
everyone has their own precious moments on something and that's a moment in time memory, why have to forget?
it's different if it's something that you dont wish to remember.

haha..yes we're not computer..people always said women hard to predict, I think a man's thought is even more hard to predict!
I think if your current loved one is asking you to forget your first date (which could be someone else before him), he is most probably jealous etc. It is normal for guys to feel that way, and of course they want their gf to remember themselves only.You need not REALLY forget it but saying a white lie might salvage the situation hehe. -by Sing Pei-
